Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. Karo syrup (white)
2 c. raw peanuts
2 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Bring to a boil the sugar, water, Karo syrup and butter, then add salt, peanuts and continue to boil to 290\u00b0.
Remove from heat, sift in soda and vanilla and stir well.
Pour thin onto buttered cookie sheet.
When cold, break into pieces.
Put into tight container for keeping.
