Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    2 Tbsp. white corn syrup
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. strawberry jello powder
    1 qt. strawberries
Preparation
    Boil sugar, water, corn syrup and cornstarch until thickened, stirring constantly.
    Add strawberry jello powder.
    Remove from heat and cool.
    Place 1 quart fresh strawberries in baked 9-inch pastry shell.
    Pour cooled sauce over berries.
    Refrigerate for 1 hour.
    Top with whipped cream and serve.
