Mark'S New York Chocolate Trifle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. chocolate cake mix (for 2 layer cake)
    1 (16 oz.) can Hershey's syrup
    3 pkg. instant chocolate pudding
    1 qt. milk
    8 oz. Cool Whip
    4 to 6 Heath bars, broken into pieces
Preparation
    Prepare cake mix according to package directions.
    Prepare pudding, using entire quart of milk.
    Cover bottom of a large glass trifle bowl with syrup.
    Break 1 cake layer into pieces and place on top of syrup.
    Spread 1/2 pudding mixture over cake pieces.
    Spread 1/2 Cool Whip over pudding.
    Sprinkle candy pieces over Cool Whip. Repeat layers, ending with Cool Whip. Refrigerate.
