Pickled Peaches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sugar
    2 sticks cinnamon
    2 c. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. whole cloves
Preparation
    Combine sugar, vinegar and spices; boil 10 minutes.
    Cook peaches until tender in boiling syrup, a few at a time.
    Pack in jars and fill with boiling syrup and seal.
