Steak Topping - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 to 14 medium mushrooms
    1 large onion
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1/4 tsp. seasoned salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper (black or red)
    1/2 stick butter or margarine
    1/2 c. beer or wine
Preparation
    Slice mushrooms lengthwise (leave button or small ones whole). Slice onion into rings.
    In medium skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
    Add garlic powder, seasoned salt and pepper and stir.
    Add mushrooms, onion rings and beer or wine.
    Cover. Simmer until juice is fairly thick.
    Pour over sirloin (or other kind) steak.
