Toffee Butter Crunch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 1/3 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. light corn syrup
    3 Tbsp. water
    1 c. coarsely chopped almonds
    4 to 4 1/2 oz. melted chocolate bars
    1 c. finely chopped toasted almonds
Preparation
    Melt butter in large pan.
    Add sugar, syrup and water.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally to hard crack stage (300\u00b0). (Watch carefully after 280\u00b0.)
    Quickly stir in chopped nuts.
