Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. quick oats
    1 1/4 c. boiling water
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1 stick margarine
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix together the quick oats and boiling water and set aside. Cream together sugars, margarine, eggs and vanilla.
    Sift together dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture.
    Mix well. Add oatmeal and mix well. Beat at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes in a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
