Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cooked and pureed squash (summer squash or winter squash equally good)
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 egg, well beaten
    1/2 c. cream
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 slices bacon, partially cooked (optional)
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients except bacon.
    Put into a buttered baking dish.
    Top with bacon.
    Bake in a 400\u00b0 oven about 20 minutes or until done.
