Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or oleo
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. cake flour
    2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    1/2 c. Crisco
    5 eggs
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Cream the butter, Crisco and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating 3 minutes after each egg.
    Add milk alternately with sifted cake flour, beating until well mixed and smooth.
    Add vanilla and mix well.
    Pour into well-greased tube cake pan. Bottom of pan should be lined with wax paper.
    Place in cold oven set at 300\u00b0 and bake until it leaves side of pan (approximately 1 1/2 hours).
