Grandma'S Butterscotch Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 lb. butter
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 c. whole milk
    3 egg yolks, beaten
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. water
Preparation
    Melt butter, then add brown sugar and 1 tablespoon water. Cook until mixture makes a thick syrup.
    Add milk, egg yolks and a mixture of white sugar and flour.
    Continue cooking, stirring constantly, until thickened.
    Pour into a baked pie crust.
    Cool and top with whipped cream.
