Three Meat Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    soup bone
    2 eggs
    several c. flour
    1/2 lb. ground beef
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 lb. salt pork
    1 small bunch parsley
    1/2 lb. beef liver
    2 onions
Preparation
    Cook soup bone about 2 hours.
    Put liver, salt pork, onions and parsley through food chopper.
    Mix together with beef.
    Add eggs, salt and pepper, then mix.
    Add flour just to stick together (should be very moist).
    Drop by spoonful (size of meatballs) into hot broth; bring to a boil.
    Simmer 2 to 3 hours, stirring often using only a wooden spoon.
    Keep covered.
    Very good served over boiled potatoes or toast.
