Icebox Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. scalded milk
    2 heaping tsp. lard or butter
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 cake yeast, dissolved in 1 c. lukewarm water
Preparation
    Mix scalded milk, lard or butter, salt and sugar together. When cool, add eggs and cake yeast dissolved in 1 cup of lukewarm water.
    Stir stiff.
    Work in flour.
    Put in warm place to rise. Knead again and put in icebox.
    Use dough when desired.
    Shape and let rise 2 or 3 hours before baking.
