Swedish Meatballs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. bread crumbs
1 c. cream
1 onion, chopped
1 egg, beaten
1 1/4 lb. ground beef
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground allspice
2 Tbsp. butter
1 1/2 c. milk
Preparation

Measure bread crumbs and 1/2 cup cream into bowl; let set for 5 minutes.
Add egg, spices and meat; mix all well.
Shape meatballs the size of a plum; set aside.
Melt butter in skillet; brown meatballs.
As they are done, remove from skillet.
Add flour to the meat drippings from browned meatballs.
Add 1/2 cup of cream and the milk to the flour mixture.
Stir until smooth. Return meatballs to sauce; simmer over low heat for 25 minutes, covered.
Serve hot.
Serves 4 people.
