Microwave Bread And Butter Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sliced cucumbers, 3/8-inch thick
    1 onion, sliced
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 tsp. celery salt
    1/2 tsp. turmeric
    1 tsp. mustard seed
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. vinegar (5% acid)
Preparation
    Place cucumbers and onions in 8 x 8-inch glass baking dish. Mix together sugar, vinegar, salt and spices.
    Pour over cucumbers and onions; cover tightly.
    Microwave on High for 7 minutes. Uncover, stir and cook 2 more minutes.
    Cool; store in refrigerator or can in jars and seal.
    Heat jars in microwave half filled with water, pack hot pickles in hot containers and seal.
