Vicki'S Stuffed Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 to 6 whole squash
    1 medium onion, chopped
    grated cheese (lite or regular)
    smoked sausage or cooked bacon, cut up
    1/2 c. Pepperidge Farm herb stuffing mix
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Wash and slice squash.
    Drop into hard boiling water.
    Bring back to boiling.
    Drain and run tap water over squash.
    Place in ice water until chilled.
    Drain again and put in freezer bags.
