Chicken Parmesan - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. bread crumbs
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
4 chicken breasts, halved, skinned and boned
1 egg, beaten
3 Tbsp. butter
1 green pepper, sliced
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 c. water
1/4 tsp. oregano
1 c. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
Preparation

Combine bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese.
Dip chicken in egg, then in crumb mixture.
Melt butter in skillet.
Add chicken to skillet; cook 3 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Arrange green pepper over chicken.
Combine tomato sauce, water and oregano; pour over chicken.
Reduce heat to 200\u00b0 in skillet. Cover and cook 25 to 30 minutes or until tender.
Sprinkle with Mozzarella cheese.
Cover and cook until cheese melts.
Makes 4 servings.
