Baked Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. small yellow squash
    2 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. butter
    1/2 c. milk
    2 large eggs
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 c. cracker crumbs
    1/2 stick melted butter
Preparation
    Cut squash into small pieces and cook until tender.
    Do not overcook.
    Drain and put in baking dish.
    Immediately add butter and salt and pepper and onions.
    Combine milk and eggs and mix well with squash. Top with buttered cracker crumbs.
    Bake for about 30 minutes or brown in a 400\u00b0 oven.
