Tomato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 peck tomatoes
    6 onions
    3 sweet peppers
    3 bunches celery
    1/2 c. butter
    1/4 c. salt
    1/2 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. red pepper
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Boil
    vegetables until tender.
    Put through sieve.
    Mix the remaining ingredients and add to juice.
    Bring to a boil. Cook for 15 minutes.
    Put in jars.
    Process in hot water bath for
    20 minutes.
    When ready to eat, add small amount of milk to each serving.
