Custard Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
2 1/4 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
sprinkle of nutmeg
Preparation

Roll pastry 1/8-inch thick.
Line a 9-inch pan.
Fold edges under; flute the edges with fingers.
Beat eggs lightly.
Add sugar and salt; blend well.
Add vanilla and milk.
Pour into unbaked pie shell.
Bake in hot oven at 425\u00b0 for 10 minutes, then reduce the heat to 350\u00b0 and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until done.
Sprinkle nutmeg on top of custard before putting into oven.
