Denver Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pt. milk
1/2 c. Crisco
1 pkg. yeast
5 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Scald and cool 1 pint milk.
Cream and add 1/2 cup Crisco and 1/2 cup sugar.
Dissolve 1 package yeast in a little warm water. Add to milk mixture.
Add 2 1/2 cups sifted flour and let rise for about 2 hours.
