Marinated Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large head cabbage
1 large green sweet bell pepper, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. oil
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 Tbsp. salt
3/4 c. vinegar
Preparation
-
Combine cabbage, pepper and onion in a refrigerator bowl that has a cover.
Sprinkle sugar over mixture.
Do not stir.
Bring other ingredients to a boil.
Pour over cabbage mixture.
Do not stir.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
When ready to serve, mix ingredients together.
