Dirty Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1 c. long grain rice
    1 can beef consomme soup
    1 can French onion soup (not cream of mushroom)
    2 (15 oz.) cans black-eyed peas, drained
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
    1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cut up butter into pieces in bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Pour rice over this, then add soups.
    Add peas, mushrooms and water to top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
