Tamale Enchilada Sauce - cooking recipe

3/4 c. Vegetable Oil
1 Clove Garlic
1/2 c. All Purpose Flour
6 c. Chicken Broth
4 Tbsp Paprika
4 Tbsp. Chili Powder
1/2 tsp. Powder Cumin
1/2 tsp. Powder Oregano
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
-
1. In medium saucepan cook oil, flour, and seasonings over low heat. 2. Gradually add chicken broth and simmer the mixture about 30 minutes or until it's thick.
Makes about 6 cups.
