Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch or 1/3 c. flour
2 c. milk
3 slightly beaten egg yolks
1/4 tsp. salt
6 tsp. cocoa
4 Tbsp. margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
3 egg whites for meringue
1 (9-inch) pie shell
Preparation

Mix sugar, cornstarch, cocoa and salt in a saucepan.
Add rest of milk.
Stir over medium heat constantly, until it comes to a boil.
Boil 2 minutes.
Stir a small amount of mixture in the egg yolks, then add to rest of mixture.
Cook 2 more minutes, stirring.
Remove from heat and stir in butter and vanilla.
Pour into baked pie shell.
Put meringue on and brown.
