Pumpkin Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
3 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. pumpkin
1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder

Preparation

Cream together shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
Add salt to pumpkin, then add it to creamed mixture.
Mix together flour, spices, soda and baking powder.
Add to pumpkin mixture.
Bake in lightly greased tube pan approximately 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
