Russian Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cut up chicken (in pieces)
    1 (6 oz.) jar apricot preserves
    1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
    1 bottle Russian dressing (have substituted Thousand Island dressing)
Preparation
    Arrange chicken pieces in baking dish (skin side down).
    Heat apricot preserves, soup mix and dressing in saucepan.
    After preserves are melted, pour over chicken.
    Cover with foil and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1/2 hour.
    Remove foil and turn chicken over. Continue baking for another 1/2 hour.
    Good served with white rice.
