Ingredients

1 pkg. cake mix
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
3 c. coconut
1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
Preparation

Prepare cake mix as directed on box.
Bake in a 13 x 9-inch pan.
Cool 15 minutes.
Poke holes in cake with a fork.
Combine milk, sugar and 1/2 cup coconut in pan.
Boil and then simmer 1 minute.
Spoon over cake.
Let soak down in holes.
Cool completely.
