Pumpkin Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. shortening
2 2/3 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 c. cooked, mashed pumpkin
2/3 c. water
3 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. ground cloves
2/3 c. ground pecans or walnuts
2/3 c. raisins
Preparation

Cream shortening; gradually add sugar, beating well.
Add eggs; beat well.
Stir in pumpkin and water.
Combine flour with baking powder, soda, salt, cinnamon and cloves.
Sift once, then add to creamed mixture, blending well.
