Corn Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 lb. dry salt meat, diced
    1 large onion, diced
    4 large potatoes, diced
    2 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 1/2 c. soda crackers, crumbled
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 can whole kernel corn
    1 can creamed corn
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of paprika
Preparation
    Saute bacon in a Dutch oven until brown and crisp.
    Add onion and cook until tender.
    Add water and potatoes; simmer until tender.
