Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 qt. popped corn
    2 sticks oleo
    1/2 c. white Karo syrup
    2 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 1/2 c. nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Bring to a boil all except popcorn.
    Let boil 5 minutes.
    Add 1 teaspoon soda.
    (It will foam.)
    Stir well.
    Pour over popcorn and stir well.
    Bake 1 hour at 200\u00b0; stir 2 times while baking.
    When done, spread out on table to cool.
