Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    3 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 c. sour milk
    1 c. thick jam
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening; add eggs and mix well.
    Combine jam and buttermilk.
    Add alternately to creamed mixture with sifted dry ingredients.
    Fold in jam.
    Pour into well-greased tube pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until well done.
