Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. finely shredded lemon peel
3 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. margarine, melted
2 slightly beaten egg yolks
1 c. milk
2 egg whites
Preparation

Combine sugar and flour.
Stir in lemon peel, juice and margarine.
Combine yolks and milk.
Add to flour mixture; stir until all combined.
Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Gently fold egg whites into lemon batter.
Transfer batter to a 1-quart casserole dish.
Place on oven rack in a larger pan.
Add hot water to oven pan 1-inch deep.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for about 40 minutes or until golden.
Serve warm!
