Crab Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 doz. crabs, clean and break bodies in half
    1 c. flour (for roux)
    1 onion, chopped
    4 stalks celery, chopped
    1 bell pepper, chopped
    1 can tomato paste
    salt, pepper and red pepper to taste
    2 cloves garlic, chopped or garlic powder
Preparation
    Add 1 cup flour in enough oil to brown for roux.
    Brown to a very dark color.
    Add onions, celery, bell pepper, garlic, tomato paste and season to taste.
    Add water while cooking (enough to make a gravy, about medium).
    Simmer for 30 minutes.
    Add crab bodies and simmer another 30 minutes.
    Serve over rice.
