Rock Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 3/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. white corn syrup
    1 c. water
    cinnamon oil
    food coloring
    cooking sheet
    aluminum foil
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    In a heavy saucepan, combine sugar, syrup and water and bring to boil.
    Remove from heat and add 2 to 3 teaspoons of cinnamon oil and red food coloring.
    Pour on aluminum foil-lined cookie sheet and allow to harden.
    Sprinkle with powdered sugar and break into pieces.
