Purple Poke Cake - cooking recipe

1 white cake mix
1 (3 oz.) pkg. grape jello
1 c. boiling water
1 c. cold water
1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip
Preparation

Prepare cake as directed in 13 x 9-inch pan. Cool in pan 15 minutes. Poke holes in cake with knife at 1/2-inch intervals. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add cold water and pour over cake in pan. Chill 3 to 4 hours and top with Cool Whip. Store in refrigerator.
