Multi-Nut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    1 c. light corn syrup
    1 can mixed nuts (10 to 12 oz. size)
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Butter a cookie sheet.
    Combine sugar, water and corn syrup in a large saucepan.
    Cook over high heat to 280\u00b0 on candy thermometer.
    Add nuts and cook, stirring, to 300\u00b0 on candy thermometer.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in butter and vanilla until blended.
    Add baking soda and stir vigorously.
