Cucumber Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tsp. salt per qt. (1/2 tsp. per pt.)
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. vinegar
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. pickling spices
Preparation
    Boil ingredients; add pickling spices or simmer until sugar melts.
    Pack cucumbers in jars. Pour liquid over cucumbers and seal jar. Process in hot water bath for 5 minutes.
    Makes 2 quarts or 4 pints.
