Chicken With 40 Cloves Of Garlic - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 chicken, cut up
    40 cloves garlic, unpeeled
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/2 tsp. dried thyme
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In large Dutch oven, melt margarine in oil.
    Add cut-up chicken, turning until golden (5 to 10 minutes). Tilt pan and spoon off all but 2 tablespoons fat.
    Add garlic and stir.
    Sprinkle with lemon, thyme, salt, pepper and water.
    Cover tightly and bake 1 1/2 hours.
    Makes 4 servings.
