Pumpkin Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. shortening
2 2/3 c. sugar
1 can pumpkin
2/3 c. water
3 1/3 c. flour
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
2/3 c. nuts
2/3 c. raisins
4 eggs
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease 2 loaf pans, 9 x 5 x 3-inch.
Cream shortening and sugar.
Add eggs, pumpkin and water.
Blend in dry ingredients, except for the nuts and fruit.
Mix well, then add nuts and fruit.
Bake in greased and floured pans for 65 to 75 minutes.
