Lazy Daisy Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. boiling water
    1 c. oats, uncooked
    1/2 c. margarine, softened
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    3/4 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over oats; cover.
    Let stand for 20 minutes.
    Beat butter until creamy; gradually add sugar and beat until fluffy.
    Blend in vanilla and eggs.
    Add oats mixture; mix well.
    Sift together flour, soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg.
    Add to creamed mixture.
    Pour batter into well-greased and floured 9-inch pan.
    Bake in preheated oven at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 55 minutes. (Frosting mix and cake together.)
