Oreo Freakout - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    24 Oreo cookies
    1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
    1 can Hershey's syrup
    1 c. chopped nuts (any kind)
    8 oz. Cool Whip
Preparation
    In a 9 x 13-inch pan, crumble Oreo cookies by hand; reserve 4 or 5 for later.
    Slice ice cream in 1/2-inch slices; layer on cookies.
    Pour Hershey's syrup over ice cream; sprinkle nuts over syrup.
    Spread Cool Whip over nuts.
    Crumble remaining cookies over Cool Whip.
    Put in freezer at least 1 hour.
    Serve and enjoy.
