Easter Sweet Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. dry yeast (mix with 1/4 c. warm water)
    2/3 c. scalded milk (5 1/2 oz.)
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. melted butter
    3 eggs, beaten
    4 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 grated lemon rind
    3/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    In large bowl, put milk.
    Slowly beat in sugar, salt and butter.
    Then add eggs and 1 cup flour.
    Mix in slowly.
    Then add yeast mixture and mix well.
    Add vanilla and lemon and mix.
    Add rest of flour, little at a time.
    Keep mixing until dough is soft. Grease large bowl.
    Place dough in flour 1 hour.
    Punch down. Let it rise for 30 minutes.
    Then roll and braid; form into a circle.
    Place on a cookie sheet for 30 minutes.
    Brush 1 egg and 1 teaspoon milk.
    Sprinkle colored candies all over.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
