Ann Valentine'S Blushing Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large firm tomatoes
    salt and pepper
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1/4 c. sour cream
    1 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
    2 tsp. chopped parsley
    1/2 tsp. dill weed
    1/2 lemon juice
Preparation
    Scoop out pulp, leaving 1-inch shell.
    Drain the pulp. Combine remaining ingredients.
    Mix until well blended.
    Add tomato pulp.
    Chill.
    Before serving, place tomatoes on lettuce and top with dressing.
    Sprinkle with additional parsley if desired.
