Raisin Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large cake yeast
    1 c. warm water
    1/2 lb. butter
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 qt. milk, heated to boiling point
    1/2 doz. eggs (3 whole and 3 yolks)
    1 large box raisins
    sufficient flour to make kneadable
    2 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    Heat milk to boiling point.
    Put butter, sugar, raisins and nutmeg in a large bowl.
    Pour heated milk over this.
    Mix and set aside to cool.
    Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water and 1 tablespoon sugar. Combine mixtures and eggs.
    Stir well. Start adding flour by cups, mixing until kneading consistency; not too hard. Cover.
    Let rise.
    Punch down.
    Let rise again.
    Punch down. Form into loaves.
    Let rise. Bake at 350\u00b0 about 1 hour.
