Old Fashioned Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    pastry for 2 crust pie
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    4 Tbsp. flour
    dash of salt
    2 Tbsp. butter
    6 c. thinly sliced, pared tart cooking apples
Preparation
    In small bowl, combine sugar, cinnamon, flour and salt, mixing well.
    Add to apples in large bowl, tossing lightly to combine. Turn into pastry lined pie plate, mounding high in center.
    Dot with butter.
    Place top crust over apples and trim.
    Crimp the crust to seal.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
    Yield:
    One 9-inch pie.
