Hash Brown Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 (12 oz.) pkg. frozen hash browns, thawed
    1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 tsp. salt (more, if needed)
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    8 oz. sour cream
    1 can mushroom or chicken soup
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients.
    Bake in 9 x 13 x 2-inch Pyrex dish at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Serves 12.
