Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. oil or butter
    2 c. sugar
    3 whole eggs
    1 pt. jam
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 c. flour
    1 c. pecans
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. clove
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat the oil, sugar and eggs until creamy.
    Add the jam and buttermilk.
    Sift the flour with the salt, soda and spices.
    Add to other ingredients.
    Add vanilla and nuts.
    Bake in a tube pan about 1 hour at 325\u00b0.
