Pie Crust - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. flour
1 1/2 c. shortening
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 tsp. baking powder
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 c. ice water
Preparation

Use enough
water to make a soft dough.
The softer you can handle
the dough the better the crust.
This makes enough dough for 5 or 6 pies.
If the scraps get too dry and stiff to roll, just
work a little water into them.
They will still be flaky if rolled thin.
