Aunt Edith'S Gallettes(Pizzelles) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. butter
2 1/4 c. light brown sugar
1 Tbsp. vanilla
3 eggs
5 1/4 c. flour
Preparation

Cream together butter, light brown sugar and vanilla.
Beat in eggs, one at a time.
Gradually add flour.
Chill dough for several hours.
Roll into walnut sized balls; flatten slightly. Bake on preheated pizzelle iron for approximately 35 seconds on each side.
If using electric iron, follow manufacturer's directions for time.
Remove with spatula.
Cool on wire rack.
