Fruitcake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. pineapple juice
1 c. sugar
3 c. plain or cake flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 lb. red cherries (candied)
1 box white, seedless raisins
1/2 lb. shredded coconut
1/2 lb. almonds, blanched and cut up
1/2 lb. butter or margarine
5 eggs
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 1/4 lb. pecans
1 lb. pineapple (candied)
1/3 lb. citron or green cherries
Preparation

Cream the butter and sugar; add eggs.
Sift together 2 cups of flour and other dry ingredients.
Add dry ingredients alternately with juice.
Use 1 cup of flour with fruits and coconut before adding them to batter.
Bake at 250\u00b0 for 3 hours.
